Our hosting and request systems may also log your IP address for security and spam prevention. We don’t ask for, and you shouldn’t send, payment details, identity documents or access codes.

That business handles your booking directly and uses your details to contact you, confirm the price, and deliver and collect the skip.That skip hire business pays us for the requests it receives through this site. We also use service providers to host the website and process requests. We don’t sell your details to marketing lists or data brokers, and we don’t send your request to several skip businesses at once. Once the skip hire business has your details, its own privacy policy governs how it uses them.
Security
Requests are sent over an encrypted connection, and access to them is limited to the people who need it to handle your request. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Overseas disclosure
Our website hosting, request processing and email providers may store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States. We choose providers that protect personal information to a standard comparable to the Australian Privacy Principles.
If you don’t provide your details
You can browse the site without giving us anything. We need your name, phone number, suburb, the skip size and the type of waste to pass on a quote request; without them the skip hire business can’t contact you or price the skip.
Cookies and storage
We use Google Analytics to measure visits and interactions on this website. Analytics uses cookies and may process data outside your country. Google receives technical information such as your IP address, device and browser type, and the pages you view. We do not send your enquiry details to Google Analytics, and the site does not use advertising cookies. To stop Google Analytics, block cookies in your browser settings or install Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on.
The service-area map on the homepage is provided by Google Maps. It loads from Google when you scroll to it, and Google may set cookies and receive your IP address and browser details under Google’s privacy policy. We don’t send your request details to Google Maps.
The site also keeps a small note in your browser’s session storage of the page you arrived on and any campaign tags, so they can be included with your request. It’s cleared when you close the tab.
How long we keep it
We keep request records for as long as needed to handle your enquiry, deal with any follow-up and meet our legal obligations, then delete or de-identify them. The skip hire business keeps its own records of the bookings it handles.
Access, correction and complaints
